Perry Meridian senior pitcher Abbey Ketchem was on the mound for 16 innings Saturday in back-to-back games against New Palestine and Whiteland in a four-team tourney at New Pal.
Ketchem then went to the Team Indiana volleyball complex, where she joined her South Indy under-18 teammates for the Indy Juniors JVA Championships. She helped her team post a 3-0 record.
In the same tourney Sunday, the South Indy team lost its morning match but bounced back to win two matches and the silver championship at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
