Greenwood Christian Academy junior Allie Dalton led Southside runners in the cross-country state finals Saturday in Terre Haute.
In her third finals, Dalton covered the 5K course in 18 minutes, 35.6 seconds and finished 21st. Franklin Central freshman Shayla Traas (18:45.8) was 25th, Center Grove junior Valerie Clark (19:10.3) 48th and Franklin Central senior Brooke Talhelm (19:37.7) 104th.
Greenwood senior Hunter Smith (16:09.3) was 47th, and Franklin Central junior Michael Parrish (17:42.2) was 191st in the boys race, which featured 208 runners.
