Franklin Central athletic director and football coach Burt Austin has resigned from both posts after being placed on administrative leave.
Austin, an all-state running back at the school, will remain as a teacher at the FC.
Austin compiled a 14-28 record in four years and assumed the duties of AD when a failed referendum resulted in personnel cutbacks.
Assistant coach Grant Lewis will succeed him.
