Center Grove (22-4) will open the IHSAA 4A Semistate at Southport against Bedford North Lawrence (24-3) Saturday at 10 a.m.
In a new semistate format, four teams are at Southport and four teams are at the 4A Semistate at Huntington North.
The second game at Southport Fieldhouse features Lawrence North (18-9) against Ben Davis (18-9) at noon.

The two winners meet for the Southport Semistate championship game at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Trojans, champions of the Bloomington South Sectional, captured the Bedford North Lawrence Regional in overtime Saturday, 45-43 as Center Grove stretched its winning streak to 18 games. Ironically, the Trojans last loss was at Franklin, 38-34, on Nov. 29, 2022. This is CG’s first regional title since 2007.
Center Grove will be seeking its first semistate championship since 1996 when the Trojans went on to win the IHSAA state championship.
The pairings were made by a random draw Sunday afternoon.
Admission is $12 each session; $20 both sessions with children 5 years and younger, free.
