Center Grove won its sixth ever state championship in softball Saturday night with a 6-2 victory over Lake Central at Ben Davis High School.
The Lady Trojans scored three runs in the 7th inning to ice the game.
Lake Central had the bases loaded in the 6th but only scored two, leaving a pair of runners on base.
