The first round of girls sectionals started Tuesday with Class 4A action getting underway in Greenwood.
In game one Center Grove had a dominant 4th quarter to beat Whiteland 56-38. The Trojans will face the Flashes of Franklin Central Friday night at 5:30.
In game two, host Greenwood trailed Franklin at the half 24-23 but would go on to win 52-48. Greenwood will take on New Palestine Friday at 7:30.
