Beech Grove quarterback Chase Andries, who holds most of the school’s passing record, and Southport record-setting receiver Blake Evans, were named to this fall’s Griddy’s Prime Time 25 Indiana football team.
“It feels great to be recognized as one of the top 25 in the state and makes me have higher expectations for the upcoming season and motivation to keep improving,” Andries said. “Receiving this award humbles me and motivates me to continue to keep working to be more successful than past seasons.”
They were recently honored at the Indianapolis Colts practice facility and will be featured with the state’s top players on the cover of “Football Digest” magazine.
