Beech Grove junior Brent Strahla has been named the school’s Edward Jones Scholar Athlete of the Month.
Seen with Edward Jones financial adviser Joy Wallace, Strahla played a key role in the Hornets winning the Indiana Crossroad Conference title with his two individual wins and two relay victories.
He carries a 4.07 grade point average, which is seventh-best in his class, and is the son of Dondi and Crystal Strahla.
