The cross-country season came to an end Saturday with the state finals in Terre Haute.
Southport senior Michael Crook (16 minutes, 2.5 seconds) finished 25th in the 5K run and was named All-State. Gabe Fendel of Hamilton Southeastern (15:17.5) won the race.
Perry Meridian junior Christopher Switzer (16:12.5) was 45th, and Roncalli junior Nick Perkins (16:39:2) was 112th.
In the girls race, Franklin Central senior Jada Reedus (19:11.2) finished 64th. Greencastle junior Emma Wilson (17:45.9) came in first.
Carmel won the boys title; Zionsville captured the girls crown.
