The girls basketball team from Central Christian Academy (formerly Baptist Academy) closed out its season on a strong note by winning eight of its last 10 games to complement a third-place finish in the Allie Jean Hale Classic.

The boys squad ended its season with a 15-9 record after losing to Morristown 69-41 in sectional action March 1. The 15 wins are the most since joining the Indiana High School Athletic Association in 2011. The team was led by sophomores Michael Roberson, 21 points per game, and Wendy Fox, 13 ppg and 12 rebounds per game.
