Visitation and a funeral service were held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 E. 25th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Reverend Ron Whitlock officiated. A luncheon was held following the service.
Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, David P. Fletcher; daughter, Tonya (Joe) Suits; son, Trevor (Lindsey) Fletcher; grandchildren, Paige Fletcher, Brandon Fletcher, Joseph Suits II, Cooper Suits, Sophia Suits; brothers, Gene (Maryellen Iobst) Clock and Jim (Debbie) Clock, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Todd Fletcher.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of Franciscan Hospice House for their outstanding treatment extended to Rosalie.

He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his military service, he was a machine repairman for Bryant-Carrier Heating and Cooling, retiring after 45 years of service.
Walter loved hunting and spending time on his boat, fishing for bass. He was a fan of the Indy 500. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

JANICE FAY BUSE, 76, widow of Michael Buse; children, Andrew (Caroline), and Jennifer Buse, Erin Thomas (Luke); siblings, Larry, Don (Dodie), and Dennis McKinney (Debbie); six grandchildren.
Janice was a self-taught crocheter and professional seamstress and upholsterer. Earlier in her career she was one of the first female IPD officers. Later in life she enjoyed trips to Florida to enjoy seafood and cherished her favorite role as Memaw.
A memorial gathering will be Friday, June 16, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove.

Troy was one of the most kind, giving, and caring men. Troy loved his family, vacations, fishing, gardening, and most of all cooking. He made the best cheesecake in the world. His wife, sons, and grandchildren were his world.

John spent most of his career in the produce industry and retired from the Indianapolis Fruit Company. John was never afraid of hard work and showed this throughout his lifetime.
John was a family man and could often be found at his granddaughters’ sporting events. John loved to cook and play golf.

JACKIE LEE “JACK” HALL, 72, children, Shawn McDonald (Shane), Jack (Samantha), Dawnyel (Stan), and Shannon Hall (Shannon); 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked in retail sales for several years on the south side of Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and Chicago Bears football on TV. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

DORTHA MAMIE JONES SANFORD HOLMES, 98, widow of Andrew Holmes; stepchildren, Richard Holmes (Charlene), Carol Bruce (David); six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Dortha retired from RCA after 26 years. She kept in touch with many beloved friends. Dortha worked at Sam’s Club in Greenwood for 13 years, retiring in 2010. She was a member and greeter of Emmanuel Church in Greenwood and a member and greeter of Gracepoint in New Whiteland from 2008.
Arrangements were entrusted to Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
LAVONNE “BONNIE” JACKSON, 81, widow of Jerry Jackson; children, Angela (Paul) Reuter, Brad (Andrea Dillman and her children), and Jeremy (Tina) Jackson; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Bill (Connie) Burton.
She graduated from Manual High School in 1960.
Bonnie drove a school bus for 32 years for Perry Township Schools. She enjoyed arranging silk flowers, hosting family holidays, giving gifts, taking road trips, being a dedicated Alabama music fan, decorating for Christmas, making people laugh, and leaving her cherry red lip prints on her loved ones.

DORIS “SLICK” LEE LESLIE, 87, wife, Cecile Leslie; daughters, Rita (Jim) Biggerstaff, Tara Leslie (Michele Fuss) and Anita (George) Morton; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, John, Jean, Flo, and Lois.
Doris loved nothing more than he loved his wife and family. If he wasn’t at home eating “just a little something sweet” and laughing with his family, then you could find him fishing, hunting, or listening to country music.

MARGUERITE “PEGGY” MARY RIHM, 65, husband, Mark Rihm; children, Joseph (Tasha), and Katelyn Rihm; sister, Donna Kay (Mike) Robinson; three grandchildren.
Peggy will be remembered as her family’s biggest cheerleader and fan. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them and hearing what they were up to.
She lived for family vacations to Disney World and the beach.
Peggy was a graduate of Manual High School, class of 1976. She worked for Women’s Health Alliance, and most recently was employed at Anthem for 23 years.

Mary Lou was a graduate of Southport High School.
She was an avid sports fan “ all her life” watching tennis along with all college football and basketball games, working crossword puzzles, and reading James Patterson novels.

She worked as a receptionist for many years. She will be severely missed by all who knew her.

BERYL B. TAYLOR, 92, widower of Mary E. Taylor; daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, he went to work for Arvin Automotive for 43 years. A special thanks to David and Becky Kern, their daughters and families, for all the love, support, and assistance they gave Beryl in his final years. He never would have made it to 92 without them.

Don co-founded Greater Diversified Supply, then retired in 1996. Not fully ready to retire, Don worked part-time for Nutec Roofing, Metal Resources and Riteway Tool.
He always found time for family, community and church, and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Pleasant Lodge 134 in Acton, Murat Shriners and Scottish Rite.

Ronnie worked construction most of his life. If he wasn’t building something he was demolishing something. He would help you out as much as he could even if it strained him to do so. He was kind-hearted to all unless you were on his bad side for some reason. He was a good son and brother and will be sorely missed.
