Wilma was a bus driver for Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic School for 39 years. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church and first President of Ladies Guild of Knights of Columbus MSGR, Bernard P. Sheridan Council #6138.

SCOTT A. COAKLEY, 52, children, Madison Coakley (Gunnar Willams), Kyle McCreary (Allouri) and Aaron Schwarzkopf; stepfather, Robert McGraw; siblings, Jim Coakley (Jennifer), Katherine Ploog (David) and Kristen Hudson (Charles); eight grandchildren.
Scott attended Franklin Central High School. He worked as a Union Carpenter with Local 301 for over 26 years. He loved sports and enjoyed coaching baseball, softball and basketball for his children.

SANDRA LEE CURRY, 83, widow of Kenneth R. Curry; siblings, Joe (Brenda) Bertel, Terry (Bob) Thurston; stepdaughter, Tamara (Paul) Storey.
Sandra was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ and was also involved with the Shriners. She enjoyed going to lunch brunch, traveling, shopping, and playing bridge. Sandra loved going camping and dancing.

THOMAS C. HAYWORTH, 77, wife, Carol Hayworth; daughter, Dawn Stout; three grandsons.
Thomas received a bachelor’s degree from General Motors Institute. He obtained his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Indianapolis. He was a member of the Southport Masonic Lodge and past member of the Scottish Rite Cathedral. For over 20 years, he built and raced midget cars with USAC and NAMAR racing clubs.
He worked for over 40 years at General Motors Truck & Bus Group as a mechanical engineer in the manufacturing department.

SEAN PATRICK KENNEDY, 51, wife, Michelle; children, Jayme (Colin) Riessen, Patrick, and Bo; two grandchildren; sister, Jenny (Tim) Chapman; mother, Janet Hardesty.
He was a vibrant and charismatic individual and an avid football enthusiast. He had a mischievous sense of humor and could light up any room. Sean could strike up a conversation with anyone.
He found immense happiness riding his motorcycle with his wife Michelle, taking her on fancy dinner dates. Music held a special place in his heart as he often broke out into song. He enjoyed shooting pool.

STEPHEN H. KING, 74, wife, Patricia King; sisters, Cheryl Glaub and Anita (Jack) Brinson.
He retired from Horner Electric (Indiana Fan) after 35 years.
He enjoyed model airplanes, skiing, sailing, gardening, barbershop chorus and antique cars. He was a lifelong Boilermaker. He and Pat traveled the country in their classic cars and even followed the Purdue Basketball team to Alaska and followed the Purdue Football team to the Rose Bowl.
Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Southport Masonic Lodge, with arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home.

Deb worked at Faegre Baker Daniels where she retired. She loved being a mother, traveling, family and her beloved granddaughter.

SHIRLEY R. LUPTON, 93, widow of Edward Lupton; son, Dennis (Brenda) Lupton; son-in-law, Jim Atkins; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Shirley taught third grade at Woodlawn School for many years, and most recently attended Southport United Methodist.
She was a selfless and loving wife, mother, and granny. She leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity and fond memories.

GRACE E. KIEFFER, 95, widow of Joseph F. Kieffer; children, Mary Kay (Paul) Segasser, Patricia (Charles) Parker, Liz (Danny) Appleby, Ed, and Kevin (Jenny) Kieffer, Christine (John) Hamilton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Grace was a member of St Jude Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her love of her husband and family and her deep devotion to her faith.

MARLENE K. MEEK, 67, husband, David Meek; children, Satomi Jarrett, Christopher (Taylor) Meek and Rebecca (Justin) Tinkle; five granddaughters; brother, James Stephenson.
Marty loved Jesus and was a missionary for One Mission Society (OMS) for 42 years. She served in Japan for 27 years, and for the last 15 years at OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, providing hospitality to visitors.
Marty loved sewing, cooking and crafts. She used these skills in her ministries. She is a member Rocklane Christian Church in Greenwood, where she served as head of women’s ministries.

C. DUANE O’NEAL, 73, wife, Roberta “Bobbi”; children, Amy and Chris (Jaime) O’Neal; four grandchildren; brother, Dwight (Patty) O’Neal.
Duane loved his family very much and enjoyed vacationing with them. He was a member of Southport Presbyterian Church. He took pride in swimming at LA Fitness six days a week.
Duane worked for Lewis & Kappes law firm. He was a replacement judge for Greenwood City Court for a time and a member of the Greenwood Plan Commission. He was a founding member of the Greenwood Community Band.

JUDITH “JUDY” PAPROCKI, 82, husband, Dr. Christopher Paprocki; children, Anne (Chip) Whitaker, Michael (Mary) Paprocki; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
She worked at Greenwood Middle School as a Language Arts Teacher for 34 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Church, where she assisted with food pantry, festivals, and other activities. Judy made jewelry, stained glass, cards, scrapbooks and enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, and painting.

EMILY S. RENFORTH, 70, husband, Joseph Renforth; chidren, Jason Renforth, Erin (Eric) Pulliam; one grandson; siblings, Clarie Winters, Joseph and Paul “Johnny” Conniff.
Emily retired from Chase Bank having worked in a variety of positions over 44 years. She loved arts, crafts, spending time at the Casino, or vacationing to a beach. She cherished the time spent with her family.

SUSIE SIMMS, 78, widow of Thomas G. Simms; children, Jeffrey (Dawn) Simms and Christina (Timothy) Naughton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, William Peeper, Mittie McMaster and Brenda Schultz.
Susie was controller for Technicolor then spent the last 10 years of her career as office manager for Fun Services of Greater Indiana.
She was an exceptional cook. She never turned down the opportunity to attend a good gospel singing or a church potluck. She loved going to the casino, dominoes, euchre, attending live baseball games. She was an avid reader.

BARBARA M. HUME SPOELSTRA, 91, husband, Herbert Spoelstra; sons, Brently and Barton Hume; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barbara and Herbert lived in Greenwood Village for 24 years.She was a charter member of the New Whiteland Christian Church, and later active in the Bluff Creek Christian Church. Recently she attended Greenwood Christian Church.
