He graduated from Franklin Central High School. Keith worked for Long John Silvers for 40 plus years, and the last couple of years with Arby’s as a restaurant manager. Keith enjoyed horseback riding, music and concerts, and watching and attending sports events. He was a planner, and the success of his magical, family Disney trip last summer showed his dedication to his family.

PHYLLIS BOTTLES, 94, widow of Don Bottles; children, Lisa (Dave) Johnson and Dr. Kurt Bottles; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Phyllis grew up and was married at Garfield Park United Church of Christ. She worshiped and served in that church for 91 years. She graduated from Manual High School and Butler University. Phyllis and Don enjoyed a mutual love of music, dancing, and entertaining. She would tell you he added adventure to her life! She hosted a weekly Bible study group for 12 ladies for over 20 years in her home.
A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4 followed by fellowship and refreshments at Friedens United Church of Christ, 8300 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
DONALD G. BOYS, 88, wife, Ellen Boys; widower of Mary Anne Boys; children, Michael (Christy) Boys, Becky (Mike) Pulham, Suzan (Bric) Bolin and Tammy (Lanny) Green; stepchildren, Jeff and David Hussong, Jennifer Ould; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In 1972 he founded Baptist Academy, a K-12 Christian school on the southside and was its administrator for seven years. He served in the Indiana House of Representatives and was identified by the media as “the most conservative voice in the General Assembly.” He was an author and appeared on talk shows, in journals and newspapers.

CALEB TIMOTHY CLINGAMAN, 18, parents, Bruce and Monette Clingaman; siblings, Jonathan, David and Sophia.
Caleb had ambitions to attend Purdue University then become a pilot for the U.S. Coast Guard. He was fearless, adventurous, humorous, and dramatic. He preached from the Bible with passion and was a big giver. He played piano for church and sang in the youth choir. His love for his family was evident. Caleb and his family have been members at Southeast Baptist Tabernacle since 2014 and was serving alongside his parents as missionaries to the military in Guam.

CONNIE FRANCES WRIGHT CROWE, 71, widow of Gary; children, Scott and Randy Crowe, April Taggert; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
For most of her life, Connie had been a homemaker. She was a member of Community Church East, where she served as the Food Pantry Manager and was active in the food service mission of the church. She was also an active volunteer for Wheeler Mission and was a member of the Mother’s Club. Connie was a fan of old-time country music, collected dolls and coins, and enjoyed scrapbooking.

LINDA LEE DANIELS, 67, children, Johnny Collins (Rena), Christine Collins Warriner, Michael Huser (Danna); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard and Ruthie Daniels (Ray), Lisa Benson (Blake), Barbara Boring (Jim).
She went to Henry Wood High School and worked at Speedway on East and Morris for 17 years and she was very well-loved by everyone that went in there.

FREDERICK A. FLAKE, 57, wife, Patty Flake; children, Ashley (Brandon) Byers, Kara and Chad (Erin) Flake; mother, Helen Flake; brother, Ed (Heather) Flake; three grandchildren.
Fred worked for several years as a pipe fitter for Ryan Fire Protection and was a Local 669 Union Member. Fred loved being a grandpa, enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar. In the spring and summer he could be found out in his giant vegetable garden.

DENNIS LYNCH HELM, 77, wife, Jane Helm; children, Daphine (Larry) Helm Glowner and Scott (Kelly) Helm; siblings, Barbara Bohley, Gary Helm; five grandchildren.
Dennis was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School and the University of Indianapolis. He retired from Olin Brass after 27 years of service. His greatest joy was spending time with family and watching his grandchildren play sports.

KENNETH E. HUBER, widower of Roxy Ann Huber; sons, Greg (Mary) and Tommy Huber; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was a man who loved life and cherished his family. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a proud Indianapolis Firefighter, serving the community for more than 49 years and served for 46 years as the Fire Marshall at the Pacer Corporation, Market Square Arena and the Fieldhouse.
Kenneth will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, his unwavering devotion to his family, and his dedication to his community.

BEVERLY L. HUGHES, 87, husband, Benjamin Hughes; children, Russ and Ben Hughes, Melody Ray; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
She attended Arsenal Technical High School until her father’s untimely death which required her to work full-time to help support the family. In the early 1950’s, Beverly met and married Benjamin O. Hughes. Beverly dedicated most of her time prior to retirement to the work of a pastor’s wife. Beverly used her God-given artistic skills to create chalk drawings while Ben preached sermons. Beverly enjoyed retirement by creating paintings and drawings while she vacationed with Ben in Florida.

DENNIS “DENNY” RAYMOND HURON, 73, wife, Debbie; sons, Chad (Renee), Nathan and Josh (Amanda) Huron; three grandchildren; stepchildren, Eric (Stacy) Robbins, Holly (Josh) Burton; brother, John (Sandy) Huron.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for the Department of Defense as a Software Manager. Denny was a member of New Hope Church, the Kairos Prison Ministry, and a 40-year member of the American License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA).

CAROLYN KAY KNEBEL, 84, widow of Loren J. Knebel; children, Christine (William) Turner, Randall and Pamela Knebel; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, sewing blankets and taking walks. She trained to be a beautician, which she did for several years, then worked as an administrative assistant at several different jobs and was great at all of them.

NELSON E. MARTIN, 77, wife, Janet Martin; children, Scott (Laura), John (Andrea), Jenny (Lauren); five grandchildren; brother, Neal (Linda).
Nelson graduated from Indiana University and then joined the U.S. Air Force, working on a top-secret program supporting the SR-71 spy plane. Afterwards, he had a successful 33-year career at Allison Transmission and Electronic Data Systems. After retirement, Nelson immersed himself in volunteer work, most notably at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital for 16 years. Nelson enjoyed traveling with Janet and playing golf. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who valued honor and character.

MARCIA A. “MARTY” MCDONOUGH, 83, widow of Tom McDonough; children, Kellie and Rob (Sarah) McDonough; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Marty spent a majority of her life in Beech Grove, IN where she graduated from high school in 1957. She taught first grade for over 30 years in the Beech Grove City Schools. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana Central University and her master’s degree from Butler University. She was a woman of faith and a long-time member of the First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hats. Most of her time was spent working in the yard, volunteering at church and spending time with family and friends.

CHARLES WAYNE MCKEEHAN PhD, 93, wife, Helen Fletcher McKeehan; siblings, Eugene, Robert (Clara) and Martha Haislip; children, Karen (James) Nicks, Stuart (Melissa), Mark (Christine) and Brian (Cathy) McKeehan; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Purdue and joined the Pharmaceutical Research Department of Eli Lilly and Company. He spent the next few years on various assignments involving potential antibiotic products. After retiring, he became a volunteer management consultant. He was a member of Southport Christian Church. He enjoyed golf, especially after retirement.
A visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN from 10-11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow the visitation.

He was employed at English Excavating for 29 years. He was a member of the Southport Masonic Lodge #270 F&AM and he enjoyed his garage, cars, trucks and his family.

Espie is a 2011 graduate of Roncalli High School. She was full of life and loved spending time with her family, especially her son, Giovani. She was so looking forward to his First Communion later this Spring. She liked to be outdoors traveling and hiking. She was very social and enjoyed getting together with friends. She was also a fashion bug and loved to “dress up”. She was a parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church.

ANNA MARIE MYERS, 64, husband, Thomas Myers; stepchildren, Joseph and Caitlin Myers; mother, Frances Weber; sister, Leah McWilliams; brother-in-law, Mark; four grandchildren.
She established a 30-year career in the Real Estate Title and Escrow Profession in addition to owning her own women’s fitness facility in Greenwood. With her family she enjoyed traveling, surprise vacations, summer pool parties, studying Spanish with them, riding bikes as a young family, Taco Bell nights with the kids and home decorating on a Martha Stewart level. She found much pleasure in cooking and hosting parties for friends and family.

FRANCES “FRAN” M. SALLINGER RAJK, 87, widow of William “Bill” Rajk; children, Chivonne (Brian) Kelly and Michael (Linda) Rajk; five grandchildren.
Fran was a long-time member of St. Jude Catholic Church and worked for many years as a “lunch lady” at Roncalli High School. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed vacations at the beach and in spending time with her beloved husband of 62 years. After Bill’s retirement, they became regulars at Flapjack’s where Fran held court while Bill visited and poured coffee. They will both be missed.

Ronnie was a graduate of Southport High School, Class of 1970 and attended Indiana University. Ronnie worked for Allison Transmission for many years. He loved to deer hunt and fish. He enjoyed traveling, loved woodworking and making furniture. Ronnie loved to cook and had his family specialties, such as, Crab Beignets and Lobster Bisque. He also enjoyed reading.

Anabel worked as a legal secretary for the Attorney General for the state of Indiana and retired in 2003. She was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She loved animals and had an affinity for both cats and dogs. Anabel enjoyed spending time with her family whenever possible. The memories created will be cherished by those she leaves behind.

He was an avid pool player having played in several tournaments in Las Vegas. He enjoyed golfing, was an author, and an extraordinarily smart man.
