Following several days of homecoming activities for the campus community, the University of Indianapolis will open the celebration to the community on Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s main event will be the 12:30 p.m. dedication of the new Health Pavilion at Hanna and State avenues. Saturday’s activities include a 4K run/walk ($20 in advance, $20 on-site), a science balloon launch, tailgating from 3-6 p.m., homecoming parade of classic cars and decorated golf carts at 4 p.m. and the football game against Truman State at 6 p.m. Info: uindy.edu/homecoming.
