Nick Atkerson Nick Atkerson has been promoted to membership director of the Baxter YMCA.
Atkerson has been employed by the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis for 13 years, serving as a membership specialist and a camp director at Witham YMCA.
He has also played a key role in the YMCA’s annual campaign, an effort that gives families – who would not otherwise be able to afford them – access to programing and memberships.
“We are thrilled to have Nick taking over this important role on our leadership team,” Executive Director John Schwentker said. “He brings a variety of customer service and nonprofit experiences to our team as we continue our work to find new, innovative ways to best serve our membership and our community.”
Atkerson, who resides on the Southside with his family, studied business management at Indiana State University.
