Formerly the associate wellness director, Finley has been with the Y for six years. As a major proponent for health, she enjoys all forms of exercise, including running, biking, yoga, strength training, swimming and pilates. Her biggest secret to wellness is in the kitchen, where she encourages members to find nutritious meals to compliment their hard work in the gym.
She holds a degree in exercise science from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Her promotion came with the news that the Y is losing its former wellness director David Smith, who has accepted the same position at City Way Y in Downtown.
The two have developed programs and strategies to best serve YMCA members.
