Fisher, whose racing team recently merged with Ed Carpenter Racing to form CFH Racing, will challenge attendees to be more confident while offering tips for instilling the character in others.
“Women own nearly one-third of the businesses in our community and comprise a majority of the business leaders engaging in networking events,” said Christian Maslowski, chamber president and CEO. “It’s clear: Our women business leaders are engaged, eager and growing.”
The symposium will kick off with a discussion on women’s participation rate in business and the gender earnings gap.
Afternoon sessions will dive into business and career advancement topics.
The day will conclude with business start-up owners discussing their journey and lessons learned related back to the day’s topics.
The event will run from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Johnson County National Guard Armory, 325 Minute Man Way, Franklin.
