Developer of proposed plasma center will field questions
A petition is being circulated to block the proposed rezoning of the lot at the southwest corner of Madison Avenue and Southport Road to accommodate a blood plasma center.
Remonstrators, particularly Homecroft Town Council Vice President Zachary D. Frizzell, argue that such a facility would be detrimental to the Homecroft and Southport communities.
A town hall meeting in which the developer will field questions from concerned residents is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Perry Township Government Center, 4901 Shelby St.
The hearing date for the Marion County Zoning Board to take up the matter is at 1 p.m. May 15 at City-County Building.
