Commercial Self Storage is not your typical storage facility. It caters to contractors, plumbers, landscapers, furniture resellers, movers and large corporations that need small warehouses. The facility is secure with gates and security cameras and has 24/7 access.

Commercial Self Storage is owned by the Sapp family. Jim and Theresa Sapp have spent a significant portion of their lives building and developing businesses in central Indiana. The original Commercial Self Storage was launched nine years ago on Castleton Road as Indy Outdoor Storage.

Jim saw an issue that many upstart and small business owners  inevitably encountered and wanted to provide a solution. What do you do when you are growing and not ready to lock in a multiyear lease?
It is difficult to predict where your business will be in one year, let alone three to five.

The Sapps provide companies fantastic opportunities to grow at their own pace and expand their businesses without wasting capital along the way on unnecessary space.

“We provide flexible leasing terms,” they said. “Our units come in a variety of sizes, and we provide outdoor storage. All units have LED lighting and power outlets. Units are also available with A/C, heat and private rest rooms. We also provide several shared amenities designed to help control expenses, such as a fork lift, common rest rooms, conference room by reservation and more. And we offer discounts to nonprofit agencies.”

Located off I-65 and County Line Road at 545 Christy Drive, Greenwood, Commercial Self Storage is near restaurants, shopping destinations and a lot of business parks, making it the perfect site for growing businesses, said the Sapps.

Commercial Self Storage (www.commselfstor.com) will continue adding buildings, which will contain professionally furnished offices, a common conference room, furnished salon studios and office space attached to warehouses.

“The facility was designed to provide plenty of turning area to load tractor-trailers and take deliveries,” the owners said. “The layout also allows us to accommodate larger corporations looking for small warehouse spaces.”
