Shirley Green Nu Tau chapter of Delta Theta Tau in Greenwood was recognized for its charitable and philanthropic efforts at the Theta Province Convention Nov. 13.
Nine members of the group were present in Seymour, Ind., as chapter President Carolyn Mathauer received the following awards on behalf of Nu Tau: second place in dollars contributed to the community; second place in per capita dollars, third place in volunteer hours; and third place in per capita volunteer hours.
In addition, Shirley Green was recognized for her 60 years of volunteer service as a member of Delta Theta Tau.
