Roncalli senior Walter Colvin has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor bestowed by the Boy Scouts of America. A member of Troop 51 and the son of David and Millie Colvin, Colvin earned 31 merit badges and membership in the Order of the Arrow and the Ad Altare Dei religious medal.
For his Eagle project, he power washed, repaired and painted 12 picnic tables, constructed a new courtyard sign and built a Buddy Bench for the playground at Indianapolis Public School 65, 4065 Asbury St., near the University of Indianapolis.
