The band is known for its stunningly accurate tribute to the music of the Eagles. Using no backing tracks or harmonizers, 7 Bridges re-creates the experience of an Eagles concert from the band’s most prolific period.
The concert will feature one hit after another with some “Don Henley” and “Joe Walsh” surprises sprinkled into the mix. Presented by Friends of Garfield Park, Indy Parks and Recreation and OneAmerica and in partnership with Gateway Community Alliance, the event will also feature fireworks after the concert. Food and beer will be available for purchase when the gates open at 6 p.m..
Admission is free, but donations will benefit Friends of Garfield Park’s STARS (Strength Through Activity, Responsibility and Service) youth program, which includes swimming, baseball and softball, tennis and karate.
The people that the STARS program serves come from one of the most economically challenged areas in Marion County, according to Lynda Burrello, president of Friends of Garfield Park. “Supporting the STARS program provides children with sports opportunities focusing on teamwork and exercise.”
