People with special needs took center stage when Mount Pleasant Christian Church hosted its third annual Night to Shine Feb. 9.
The program serves an unforgettable prom night experience for people ages 14 and older.
Each guest entered the event – sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation – on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd. Once inside, guests received the royal treatment, including hair, makeup and shoe shining areas, corsages and boutonnieres and a catered dinner. And each guest was crowned king or queen during the dance.
