During the June 2023 MSD Decatur Township board meeting, a new School Resource Officer, Dennis Scott, was sworn into service by Decatur Township School Police Chief Terance Smith. According to Assistant Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Hofer, Scott brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his previous position with the Indianapolis Airport Police Department.
Jessica Considine was recognized as the new varsity boys’ and girls’ cross country coach for Decatur Central High School. Considine teaches at Decatur Middle School, and previously coached cross country, and track and field there. She says she’s looking forward to taking her coaching skills to this next level of competition.
