The gala really picks up steam when Craig Park, 10 E. Smith Valley Road, comes to life at 1 p.m. with games, face painting, crafts, a street fair, bounce houses and nearly 170 vendors, including some of the area’s finest restaurants, microbreweries and wineries, which will be set up near the amphitheater.
Live music starts at 2 p.m. and continues on two stages until the fireworks show at 10:15 p.m. The Woomblies Rock Orchestra will take the stage at 5:15 p.m., Tastes Like Chicken at 7:30 p.m. Other performers include the Shelby County Sinners, Meadow Ryann and Angel White & Marvin Parish. A special ceremony to honor veterans starts at 8 p.m., and it will be followed by the Air National Guard Jazz Band of the Midwest performing popular, patriotic and big band songs.
