Fox 59’s “Our Town” segment on Friday will showcase some of the businesses that make Beech Grove special.
The station will stop at Eckstein Shoes, one of the few shoe repair shops in central Indiana; Harlow Rouge Couture & Tiny Tot Couture, which features women’s and children’s clothing; Napoli Villa, to sample some of the best Italian food on the Southside; Beech Grove Firearms and Beech Grove Bowl, where a live segment will be shot. Anyone who shows up between 8:45 and 9 a.m. will be treated to free bowling and shoe rental.
There’s a good possibility that the new Regal Donuts & Bakery will also get some airplay.

The Greater Beech Grove Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural Music on Main concert from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.
The show, which will be staged between Sixth and Eighth avenues, opens with Big Roscoe and the Hammers and closes with the Woomblies Rock Orchestra.
