Cheryl Rivera has entered the race for Perry Township Small Claims Court judge.

Rivera, a Republican and a graduate of Purdue and Indiana University School of Law, has been an attorney since 2003. She has served as a deputy prosecutor, a deputy public defender, a solo practitioner and a licensed real estate broker. She donates pro bono hours to an animal rescue organization and elderly clients.

She has served as judge pro tempore in Marion Superior Courts and the Perry Township Court.

Rivera has been involved with the GOP since 2005. In 2016 she was elected to the Perry Township Board, a position she still holds.

She and her husband, Troy, have three children, and they attend St. Mark Church. She helped establish the PTO at St. Roch School and served as secretary.

Rivera now serves as secretary of the Glenns Valley Elementary School PTA.

This Judge has put 3 judgements on me, once in 2014,2021,and2022 and is very rude, doesn't care what you have to say,, she didnt even look into the case in 2022 and waits to weeks from the court date to give a rendering, witch needs reevaluated, and not bye her niether,,.... worst judge ever in America.. if you happen to be in her chair be ready for the worst..

Cheryl Rivera is a disgrace. She always sides with lawyer in small claims court and doesn't pay attention to any of the facts of the case.
