Southside voters go to the polls Tuesday to elect the next president, plus congressional, Statehouse and county leaders and school board members.

A volatile presidential election is the main attraction with Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as the Republican vice presidential candidate is just part of a ripple effect that shapes Election Day in Indiana. The governor’s race between Republican Eric Holcomb and Democrat John Gregg tops the statehouse races.

Southsiders can vote from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. at specific precincts; for voting sites in Marion County call 317-346-4466.
Voting centers are spread throughout Johnson County, with locations in the Greenwood area at Mount Pleasant Christian Church, White River Library, Rocklane Christian Church, Greenwood Christian Church, Vineyard Community Church, the old Jonathan Byrd’s Cafeteria and Grace Assembly of God. The cafeteria also is open for early voting Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Johnson county voters can obtain more information at 317-346-4467.
