• The four-part Vatican II’s Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy will be held Tuesdays starting April 12. The constitution gave a new direction for the church’s sacramental worship by returning to some of the principles of the early church. The program will cover principles of Catholic worship, renewing the Eucharist and sacrament and results of liturgical changes. The cost is $15.
• The center’s labyrinth is open from 7:15-8:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month for walks. An explanation of the labyrinth is held at 7 p.m.
• A program examining the various prayer practices will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 25. The fee is $45.50 and includes lunch.
• The center will host a friendship team at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 26. Participants will be asked to reflect on the joy they have brought to others in their life. Cost is $20.
• The grand opening and blessing of the center’s Peace & Nature Garden will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. The meditative center features shaded and open areas, walkways, art, and plants.
• “Rest & Renewal: “Come Lay Down Your Burdens...” will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 7. The program is intended for those journeying with a loved one who struggles with addiction. The fee is $10.
• A retreat to escape the chaos and noise of everyday living will be offered from May 11-13. Participants will have the opportunity to get close to God through prayer, meditation, reading and peaceful walks. The days will be primarily in silence except when meeting with a spiritual director. The cost is $280 and includes food and lodging.
