From 2002-09 he led all public relations efforts for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and its ancillary properties, including the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course, IMS Productions and Brickyard Authentics retail stores. Prior to joining IMS he was the director of public relations for the Indy Racing League for four years.
After leaving the IMS he did public relations work for Sam Schmidt Motorsports, Lazier Partners Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing, working with drivers Tony Stewart, Alex Tagliani, Townsend Bell, Dan Wheldon, Conor Daly, Bryan Clauson, Simon Pagenaud and Josef Newgarden.
Green, a 1987 graduate of Ball State University, is now a full-time real estate broker for Century 21 Scheetz, serving all of Indianapolis and the surrounding counties. He is also a part-time fitness instructor, teaching spin (indoor cycling) classes at the Southport Road LA Fitness and also at Studio 317 Fitness and Cycle in Greenwood.
He also serves on the board of directors of Champ Camp, the Century 21 Scheetz Foundation and the USAC Benevolent Fund.
