Applicants must be legal residents of the state, be enrolled full time at an Indiana college, have at least a 3.0 GPA, be involved in one or more extracurricular activities, be 18 by Jan. 1 but no older than 23 by May 31 and never married with no children.
Each princess will receive a $1,000 scholarship and will participate in the program’s personal and professional development initiative.
Princesses are also provided with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including involvement with outreach programs, volunteering at 500 Festival events and participating in various Indianapolis Motor Speedway functions.
“Participating in the princess program was a life-changing experience,” said this year’s queen, Caitlyn Foyw, who’s majoring in biology at Butler. “From the networking opportunities to the leadership development program and the scholarship, the program has given me the tools necessary to make an impact within my community upon graduation.”
