Roncalli High School’s theatre teacher, Phil Anderson, won the Indiana Thespian Hall of Fame Theatre Educator Award at the Indiana State Thespian Conference the weekend of January 18-20. More than 900 students and their sponsors from Indiana were in attendance. This award is given to educators with at least 20 years experience in theater education. He was nominated by Roncalli’s 2018-19 Thespian Troupe. “All of us at Roncalli are thrilled for Phil. He is such a blessing for our school and his work with all aspects of our theater programming is simply exemplary. He has touched the lives of hundreds of young people in such a profoundly, positive manner. This is a most deserving honor for Phil.”
