Undefeated 4A No. 8 Greenwood (4-0, 2-0) rolled to a 51-21 road win against winless Mid-State foe Mooresville. The Woodmen scored first on Brandon Rosado’s 9-yard run, and tight end Connor Battinau caught two TD passes in the first quarter for a 21-0 lead. Rosado rushed for 126 yards on 21 carries. Quarterback Seth Gallman connected on 13-of-19 passes for 161 yards and four TDs.
Roncalli, No. 1 in 5A, extended the state’s longest winning streak to 19 by dominating 5A No. 13 Plainfield 45-20. Running back Patrick McManama scored four touchdowns, and quarterback Connor Gore threw for 211 yards and two scores.
Once-beaten 1A No. 2 Lutheran (3-1, 2-1) ran over non-league foe Oldenburg Academy 64-13, and Southport (2-2, 2-0) edged 5A No. 15 Terre Haute North 17-7 in Conference Indiana action.
