Lutheran High School’s Brandon Perry was named the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Subway Player of the Week for his performance at the Martinsville Regional March 11.
Perry scored 25 points in both of the Saints’ games and pulled down 10 rebounds in a 66-60 win over Hauser and 12 against No. 3 Tindley in a 68-52 loss in the championship game.
He was named to the honorable mention team at the Marion County tournament earlier this season and will play in the county all-star game April 20. “I feel blessed by these honors,” Perry said, “I couldn’t have done any of this without my teammates, coaches and those who have supported me.”
He has an interest in playing collegiate basketball and is weighing his options.
