Weller’s comment: “This year is a building year so we can provide a lot of experience to the girls who are new to the varsity. We want to contend for conference and sectional championships in the future. They have a good work ethic, and that’s surprising because most of them have had a different coach every year. We are working on fundamentals and keeping everything simple. We lack that core experience so I’ve really gone back to the basics. I want us to be fundamentally sound and aggressive but not over-aggressive to the point where we lose control. These girls work hard and love the game of volleyball.”
