Beech Grove senior Katie Giller has been named the school’s Edward Jones Investments Scholar Athlete of the Month for January.
Giller averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds while leading the Hornets to the Indiana Crossroads Conference title and an 18-5 record before losing to Tri-West 60-56 in sectional play.
A four-year letter winner who has a 3.3 GPA, Giller plans to continue her playing days at Marian University for coach Katie Gearlds.
