Coach’s comments: “We have a great group of girls. We’ve been throwing a lot at them, but I think we will have a good year. They work hard; we’ve had some long practices without a complaint. They are intense and give full effort. They are coachable, smart and athletic. Our two seniors show leadership and we have good returning players with girls who really are up and coming. Most of them know each other well because of softball and other sports. We have a strong junior class that will help us offensively and defensively. We have a lot of speed and contact hitters, but I want to see more home runs. We want to grow this program over time.”
