Ashley Chitwood Ashley Chitwood has been promoted to sports director of Baxter YMCA.
Chitwood previously served as league site supervisor, a personal trainer and as interim sports director during the transition.
“Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge to this position. Thanks to her innovation and hard work, we have seen our gymnastics program grow as a result of her leadership,” Associate Executive Director Terri Bradley said.
Chitwood holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Indiana University. Her involvement in athletics goes back to her participation in team sports and her past positions with the Y for more than two years.
“Ashley’s passion for the YMCA mission and her strong work ethic are seen every day,” Bradley said.
