• Franklin Central (5-1, 4-0 Conference Indiana), 6A No. 13, edged league foe Southport (3-3) 21-14 on a late fourth-quarter 10-yard pass from Tyler Bishop to Maliki Parks. Bishop threw three TD strikes to overcome Southport TDs by LaMarco Yates and a scoring pass to Ryan Lezon from Eddie Schott. In a quarterback duel, Bishop threw for 289 yards and Schott for 217 yards. The Flashes stay atop Conference Indiana.
• After a 6-6 halftime deadlock, Manual (4-2, 3-2) dominated Howe in the second half for a 32-6 win. Isaiah Starks, Coadie Barnett and Keyshawn Range scored for the Redskins in the second half.
• Greenwood running back Nick Willham ran for three second-half touchdowns to lead the 4A No. 12 Woodmen (5-1) to a 27-6 over visiting Paoli. Willham carried 23 times for 147 yards.
• Lawrence Central, under former Southport coach Bill Peebles, upset 6A No. 5 Center Grove 14-12 by forcing and recovering a fumble on the 30 after a 43-yard CG pass completion. The Trojans (3-3, 2-3 Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference) led 10-7 at the half.
