SUBMITTED PHOTOS Beech Grove High School’s softball team hosted its inaugural Strike Out Cancer game May 12 against Lutheran (below), and coach Lois Speziale has issued a thanks to everyone who supported the squad, whether through attending the game or purchasing a T-shirt. “We raised a good amount to donate to the American Cancer Society,” she said. “The game didn’t turn out as we had hoped, but life doesn’t always go as we plan.
