RONALD BERRY, 75, wife, Wilma Berry; children, Ron (Michele) Berry, Jr., Lisa Senters; stepchildren, Tammy (DJ) Tschetter, Tracy (Tim) Allen, Tony Jones; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Ron dedicated 31 years to General Motors, working as a WEMR at the Truck and Bus plant. He and Wilma spent eight years living in Florida before returning to Indiana.
He was a fan of the classic TV show Hee Haw, and more recently, NCIS, and appreciated all kinds of music. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ron’s life was celebrated at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home.
LARRY D. CRUSE, 74, wife, Cheryl Cruse; children, Kelly (Jacob) Burris, Katherine (Brock) England, Brian, Mitchell, and Andrew Cruse; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack (Sharon) Jr., Greg (Angie), Mark (Nancy), Mike and Tom (Jenny) Cruse.
Larry was a 1968 graduate of Beech Grove High School, where he served as senior class president and was on the football and wrestling teams. Larry served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Allison Transmission for 38 years, then became an Associate Broker with Weichert Realtors.
Larry was a dedicated member of Southland Community Church.

EUGENE ARMON DAHL, 93, widower of Julia; children, Ronald and Robert (Kathleen) Dahl, Tonia (Steve) Richman; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Gene served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He worked 27 years at Atlas Commercial Towel and Uniform Service then worked another 28 years with St. Francis Hospital as a service worker in the housekeeping department finally retiring at 86.
Gene enjoyed marathon games of euchre and was an avid sports fan. His fondness for sports and card games was only surpassed by his love of music.
Services were conducted at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
JUDITH F. GRAHAM, 84, grandson, Shaun (Brandy) Graham; great-grandson, Davis.
She attended Southport High School. Judy retired from the University of Indianapolis switchboard. Before that, she worked for years at Farm Bureau Co-op. Judy was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for her funny personality, her planting skills and her secret love for ice cream.
A celebration of life will be 12-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at her home. Arrangements were entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home.
HOLLY RAE HOTZ, 60, mother, Dottie Hotz; special friend, Don McKinley.
Holly was a proud graduate of Lutheran High School, where she was active in athletics and served as a spirited cheerleader. She later attended Indiana Central University. Known for her vibrant personality and zest for life, Holly treasured time spent outdoors and was especially fond of activities shared with her father—golf, fishing, boating, and the excitement of auto racing. She was, in every sense, her daddy’s girl.
A celebration of Holly’s life will be held at a later date. Forest Lawn Funeral Home handled arrangements.
DEBRA ANN HOWES, 63, widow of Ronald Howes; daughters, Raeann and Kendra Howes; brother, William Pence; four granddaughters.
Debra loved basketball and football. Both the Pacers and the Kansas City Chiefs were her favorites. When Debra had her second daughter, she devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mom. Debra found joy in being a mother and through the years blessed many others. Debra both had a heart for others and animals; from her cows and dogs from her Gosport, IN farm to her cats that were always by her side.

SANDRA HELEN MCGOVERN, 89, widow of John McGovern; children, Tim (Nancy) and Kevin (Sherrie) McGovern, Kelli Boehm, Tracy (Jeff) Piercefield, Kim (Jim) Williams; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Donohue.
Sandra spent over two decades as a bus driver for Perry Township Schools/Rise program. She was a devout member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church. She loved hosting big family dinners. She found joy in spending time with family and friends in Brown County at their lake cabin, trips to Las Vegas, traveling the world with John and family.
Visitation took place at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service.
BONNIE JO WALKER OTT, 74, husband, Wayne Ott; children, Brad (Tonya) Ott, Wendy (Steve) Callahan, Mindy (Darryl) Edwards, Keri Gilbert; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Beckie (Rick) Stumpf, Randy (Cathy) Walker, and Christie Watson.
She graduated from Center Grove High School in 1969. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, canning food, working in her flower beds, cooking for family holiday gatherings, visiting craft fairs and festivals, Saturday shopping with her sisters and mom, watching Family Feud, and word-search puzzles. She retired from JFW Industries after over 20 years of service.

SAMUEL JEFFERIS PIERCE, 48, wife, Melissa Pierce; children, Noah, Rhyan and Lacey; mother, Patricia Pierce; brother, Lucas (Shelley) Pierce.
Sam graduated from Franklin Central High School in 1995. He entered into ministry at Southside Bible Church where he preached at Crestwood Village South. Sam founded the Foundation Life Bible Church.
Sam counted Melissa and their children as his greatest blessings from the Lord. Sam loved people. His spiritual gift of mercy allowed him to see people through the lens of Jesus in a remarkable way. His conversations were deep, genuine and full of empathy.

ARVINE EARL RAKER, 95, wife, Geneva; children, Steve Raker (Donna), Susan Wiseman (Tom) and Amy Vaughn; 11 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
He graduated from Manual High School. He lettered in basketball, track and cross country. There he met the love of his life, Geneva. They were married 76 years. They were members of Center Grove Church and attended faithfully.
Arvine loved to go boating, fishing, golfing, and bowling but his greatest love was spending time with his family. He loved get-togethers and reunions and was always the life of the party!

Lisa’s laughter was a beacon of joy; its contagious nature could light up a room. She dedicated many years as a manager at the German Park Edelweiss Restaurant, where she was not only a respected leader but also a friend to her colleagues and the many patrons she served. Her ability to talk and make friends with anyone was one of her most remarkable qualities.

Larry was a graduate of Franklin Central High School. He worked alongside his father and brother at Young & Sons, where he rebuilt diesel engines. He was a member of Thompson Road Baptist Church. He was known for giving nicknames to everyone. Larry loved baseball, tools, a good laugh, and his family.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wed., August 27, 2025, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the funeral service at 1 p.m.
