J.C. Sullivan, the former chauffeur of gangster John Dillinger, spoke at the Indiana Baptist Temple. Sullivan attributed his past behavior to the influence of drugs and alcohol. After being on the run for 17 years, a guilty conscience persuaded him to turn himself in. He later wrote the book “From Crime to Christ.”

The Redskins were coached by Fred Belser and featured Aldray Gibson, Lennel Moore, John Page, Dean Floyd, Danny Spears, Jessie Bingham, Loren Green, Mark Flandermeyer, Keith Richardson, Michael Ray, Chris Riley, Steve Schultz, Ken Harris and Dirk Clark.
