Lutheran High School’s cheer team won three gold ribbons and a second-place trophy in the small varsity category at Ball State University’s cheer camp.
Coached by Leah Cashmer and Jamie Morton, the squad features (in no particular order) Kenzie Sickmeier, Janessa Schaeffer, Clair Tabit, Elayna Brock, Elise Miller, Madi Christian, Annie Ventura, Hayleigh Patton, Randi Zulkowski, Kylie Sechrest, Molly Phipps, Gracie Kowell, Hannah Christian and Haley Harris.
Phipps and Sickmeier were named Universal Cheerleaders Association All-Americans and were invited to represent the organization in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day and London New Year’s Eve parades, respectively. Sechrest was named an outstanding leader.
