SUBMITTED PHOTO Students from Beech Grove Schools attended Purdue University’s summer science camp for free. “As always, science camp was a huge success,” said Beech Grove High School teacher Megan Kimball, who along with Kevin Banks served as sponsors. “We had a great group of students,” she added. “They enjoyed many aspects of the camp, but I think their favorite day was when we got to dechorionate fish embryos under a microscope.” The participants were (in no particular order) Elizabeth Pich, Mackenzie Poindexter, Olivia Malone, Kelsey Williams, Shelby Wright, Kamsey Schneider, Nathalia Mamat, Ashlynn Morelock, Lillian Ferguson, Ted Hardesty, Patrick Lamb, Brent Strahla, Morgan Schneider, Devin Bow, Alyssa Dodd, McKenna Schneider, Austin Barton, Janis Vuskalns and Aaron Wills.
