They competed against squads from around the state and took first-place honors for their cheer, which centered around TV show “Wipeout.” Coached by Lauren Lenox and Dede Sims, the squad won $1,000 for their efforts.

More than 900 people were on hand May 7 at The Atrium for Roncalli’s 25th annual honors reception, which recognized seniors for their academic excellence. The honorees included Annie Wagner (second from left) and Cat Yanis (third from left), who received Katie Lynch Live, Laugh Love Memorial Scholarships.
