Roncalli Class of 2015
Education has always been an important part of my life. I feel that it is vital to being a better human being.
In addition, it is even more imperative to have a Catholic education. I have a greater appreciation for a religious-based education since I attended a public grade school – a great time in my life – before transferring to Roncalli.
I learned a lot at the public institution, but I felt that there might have been something missing in my life – the faith aspect of an education. I appreciate that there is a challenging curriculum at Roncalli, whose standards are higher than those at a public school. I have been pushed to learn while reaching my potential.
I believe that I am more knowledgeable and better educated because of attending Roncalli. My education here has made me a more service-oriented person.
The teachers here are great and like no other. They are caring, approachable and always willing to help with anyone’s needs. That is nice, and it’s something I do not take for granted.
The faith aspect of a Catholic education is the driving force of everything. It is the mission of the school and the biggest part of the environment. It is something that is important to me. I feel that it is important to have Mass incorporated into our education.
Since I came from a public school, I have a greater appreciation for the people and the faith aspect of a religious-based education, which has taught me more about myself and to be a better person. It is something that I am grateful for; I am happy I decided attend Roncalli.
