On the positive side of global warming, central Indiana saw 70- plus degrees just three days before November came marching into town. Therefore, cruisers and classic car owners were graced with one more weekend to show off their beloved rides.
More than 50 cars were entered in Saturday’s successful show at Rosegate Assisted Living & Garden Homes, off Emerson Avenue between Southport and Stop 11 roads.
The event allowed residents to get outside and relive memories of years gone by. Seeing awesome cars that they may have liked in their youth brought huge smiles and great conversations with the cruisers.
Excellent food and musical entertainment were provided by the Rosegate staff and volunteers for all participants and their guests.
Awards were given for residents pick, staff choices, best halloween-themed car and people’s choice.
Another beautiful Saturday was enjoyed by a great crowd of car enthusiasts.
Until next time, happy cruising!
