A master salesman (Oakie) gets stuck in the backwater country of Klopstokia and discovers that all of the women are named Angela and all of the men are gifted athletes.
The country’s president (Fields) gets the salesman to take Klopstokia’s best athletes to the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles, where they hope to win prize money to ease the country’s debt.
But the president’s chief rival (Herbert) tries to foil the plan by demoralizing all the athletes with “The Woman No Man Can Resist” (Roberti).
“It’s even goofier than it sounds,” says Grayson, who will field questions afterward.
Admission is $5; concessions are $1.
