![]() The beloved musical “My Fair Lady” will open March 30 at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Set in Edwardian London, the production tells of the transformation of Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower seller. On a cold night she meets Professor Henry Higgins, a phonetician who is so appalled by her speech that he offers to tutor her. The suggestion garners the attention of a bystander, Col. Pickering, who makes a wager with Higgins that he won’t be able to transform Doolittle to the point of convincing society that she is a proper lady. Tickets range from $42.50 to $67.50 and include a buffet dinner. Discounts are available for children ages 3-15 and groups of 20 or more. A show schedule is listed at www.beefandboards.com, and tickets can be reserved by calling 317-872-9664.
