Boomer, the mascot for the Indiana Pacers, will be the featured attraction when Greenwood Library hosts a fundraiser from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Middle School, 523 S. Street Fair

Political Collectors Convention
The Midwest Regional Political Collectors Convention will be held Thursday-Friday, Sept. 8-10, at LaQuinta Inns & Suites South, 5120 Victory Drive, off the 4500 block of South Emerson Avenue. Collectors and dealers of political memorabilia will spend the three days buying, selling, trading and discussing the growing hobby. Southport Class of 1960 Reunion
Southport High School’s Class of 1960 will hold its annual reunion Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9 and 10.
